Hi! I am hoping that I can find a very wise dog trainer that can offer me some much needed advice.
I have a 2 year old German Shepherd, Schatzi. She is normally very well behaved. I have a 5 year old daughter and she is very gentle and patient with her. She listens very well in the house, and knows basic commands.
We currently own our house and it has a large back yard so she can get her exercise out back. The problem is that my husband is going overseas for a year. My daughter and I are moving back home and will be living in an apartment. I found an apartment complex that is extremely pet friendly, it even has a dog park! But Schatzi is impossible to walk! To make matters worse I only weight 100 lbs!!
Schatzi was in a very expensive obedience class when she was a puppy but I don't feel that she got too much out of it. It was a local place that trains cop dogs, they actually kept her in their facility and worked with her for 2 weeks, I was not involved in this training at all, the trainer thought it would be better if he were left alone with her.
Every time I take her for a walk she goes into "attack mode" anytime someone even glances in my direction.
Schatzi is a very important part of our family. I have to get her temperment under control.
Also, she has a very strong attachment to me, more so than my husband and daughter. She's easier to handle for my husband if my daughter and I aren't out with them.
We are moving in the middle of August. I would appreciate any advice anyone can offer.

Good day
I am please looking for help with my dogs. I love them to bits but when ever I decide to take them for a walk I can't stand and handle the way they react. They jump on my back cry, moan and go completely insane and I can hardly put the harness on them. Once I finally get the harnesses on them and we are out the gate they pull me all over the place and when they see another dog or walk past a gate and see a dog they go nuts barking trying to attack the dog and so on.
Please can somebody tell me how to deal with this problem as I would really like to take my dogs for walks everyday without this huge hassle.
The dogs I have are a Rhodesian ridgeback a Scottish terrier a Daschund and a Dalmation. The first three are females and the Dalmation the real problem dog so to speak is male all of them have been fixed.
Thanks and please help me.
