Exotic Rats
LOL.
My plan for tonight was to study my ass off for the spanish test but it’s not working oot. I don’t feel like doing anything because I just get a C anyways. My long term plan was to do both tech and tennis but that also failed because by the time tech starts, the tennis season will already be underway. So both my pans failed… for now. But I’ll be back… Anyways my plans were good ideas but failed. Kind’ve like that time I decided to buy rats and decorate them in glitter and sell them as exotic pets. It was a good idea but someone else beat me to it. Bastard.

Dog Craze
A dog-crazed girl!
There was this small puppy, about the size of a full grown adult's palm. It is a Jack Russell. The moment I saw him, i was momentarily stunned. Never have I seen such a Jack Russell with such nice coat of fur and colour. He seemed to be staring at me. My heart melted immediately! Sigh! "Selling at $1000!" !@^$%&%^&$&$^^#%#%$OMG! There were also Siberian Huskies (cool), Golden Retrievers (handsome)! And very very cute maltese (zacky!!!)

One Of Those Days
A "one-of-those-days" story.
The for sale sign incident is just the latest madness to happen to me in what seems to me to be a veritable volley of oddness surrounding me at the moment. Deer are eating my lawn, moles are busy excavating my vegetable plot and the local rabbits seem determined to commit suicide by constantly throwing themselves under the tyres of my Landrover, dont even mention the Squirrels. I bought a wild bird feeder from Tescos and now as if by magic all the local wild birds have disappeared from the garden.

Life Without A Dog?
From a story about having a new puppy.
Some of my regular customers came in. One seemed to have come in for no other reason to discuss the rather stupid commentary on TV’s coverage of the Westminster Dog Show.

Juncos
Keep your eyes peeled for the slate colored juncos.
Yesterday the bird feeder had, in addition to the usual mob of sparrows, a mocker, a blue jay, and a cardinal. I'll be on the lookout for the slate-colored juncos; twice a year they pass through and eat up everything in sight, like a busload of tourists invading a rest stop on the interstate.

Goodbye Tiki (1991-2006)
R.I.P.
Tiki, of all my pets, has had the biggest personality. He was a dignified cat constantly foiled by his own klutziness. There was a meow (a very Siamese cat meow) for any and every occasion. I’ve never seen an animal so able to accurately get his message across. He had us trained to his whims in a matter of weeks.

Training Molly
From a nice story on training the dog.
I love my children! Did I mention they don’t have volume controls? They are either too soft or too loud. Tonight they chose loud. So did I. As I converge with the pack, I declare, “do you see what shoes I’m wearing?” so that the entire class knows I cannot control my dog because I am wearing ice skates. I try to save face and make Molly sit. Then we do our show-off gag where I set the leash down and she does not move while I place the dog food into the cart. Only this time the class is staring and Molly tries to bolt.

Breed-Specific Legislation
Making the dog wrong isn't necessarily fixing the problem.
There are several samples of existing non-breed specific legislation (i.e., the State of California) that are competent in regulating the irresponsible owners and not punishing those who maintain their dogs safely and humanely. I, as a responsible dog owner, ask that we seriously consider the impact of breed specific legislation. The irresponsible owners don’t care what breed of dog they lose the right to own…. they’ll find another dog breed to fit their needs, or simply ignore the new legislation.

Mastiff Puppies
Lots of help here if you're considering a mastiff pup.
REMEMBER , even though your mastiff puppy is large, it is a very young delicate baby. Your mastiff pup will sleep a great deal the first month, and much like human babies ,will start to get more energy and be awake for longer periods as they get older.
