New Binoculars

So finally we broke down and got some new binos. We’d been using my dad’s old Tasco 7×35 Porro binos that were at least 40 years old *ugh*. These new ones are great; very sharp, nice and bright, very good FOV of 341′ at 1000 yards (awesome for 10×42s) and the close focus distance is supposedly 7 feet but I find it closer; more like a tad over 6′ (great for sitting in your house and watching closely-mounted bird feeders, or checking out butterflies, etc).
