Myths About the Pit Bull

Read the entire article.There are a number of dog breeds that are often called pit bulls, most with no more claim to the name than having a short coat. Bullmastiffs, boxers, shar peis, Boston terriers, even many square-headed Labrador retrievers or greyhound mixes are often mistaken for pit bulls. A dog was killed a few years ago in England under its pit bull laws, all expert testimony and the dog's owner as well holding the dog to be a Great Dane/greyhound cross. So looks are indeed deceiving.

PLEASE LET ME MENTION I ALSO HAVE 4 GRANDCHILDREN AGES NOW 9 - 18 WHOM HAVE CRAWLED APON OR LAID WITH. WITH ONLY BEING GIVING DOGGIE KISSES.

4 IFEEL THERE ARE NO BAD PETS JUST BAD PET OWNERS!! I HAVE HAD 3 DOGS IN 36 YEARS 2 BEING OF THAT SO CALLED SCARY FAMILY . I NEED NOT SAY THEY WHERE THE MOST LOVING DOGS I HAVE EVER OWNED .THE SMALL PETS I HAVE HAD CATS, FERRETS, RABBITS, AND RATS . AND MY DOGS WHERE ALWAYS GENTAL AND CAREFUL WITH THEM ALL . IF ANYTHING MY FERRETS PUSH HER AROUND. I ALWAYS INTRODUCE ALL MY NEW PETS AS BABIES AND WE HAVE A RULE WE DONOT EAT FAMILY MEMBERS. WHICH OUR CHICKEN AND OTHER OUT SIDE BIRDS ARE HAPPY ABOUT .PLEASE DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS NAME
