The Intelligence of Dogs
I'm not sure this proves that dogs are intelligent, but I think dogs are intelligent anyway.
There are a lot of people that say dogs aren’t that bright, and give some rather convincing arguments sometimes. But that doesn’t hold true if you spend a lot of time with them. Ziggy for example, has grown used to being taken for a walk by Jan in the morning (anywhere from 8.30am to 10am). As such, whenever she walks close by the door, he stands there wagging his tail, or whining because he wants to go out.
